JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen kicked off their 10th anniversary season with a new identity and a new logo on Thursday night at the Igloo.
The Icemen unveiled their new designs, headlined by a fierce-looking Yeti creature holding a hockey stick above the Jacksonville Icemen name, to usher in the next decade of hockey in town. The team’s new logos feature iceberg blue, black and snow. The previous gray and navy blue that was in the previous logo has been jettisoned.

The team moved from Evansville to Jacksonville after the 2016 season, and the old logo and colors moved with it. The new look and suite of logos are all Jacksonville’s. The Barn Creative designed the new look for the Icemen.
“This rebrand is about more than a new look - it’s a reflection of how much this community has embraced the Icemen over the last decade,” Icemen owner and CEO Andy Kaufmann said in a statement. “Jacksonville has given us so much, and as we head into our 10th Anniversary Season, we wanted a brand that truly represents the city and the fans who’ve supported us every step of the way.”
The Icemen open their 10th anniversary season on Oct. 31 against the Atlanta Gladiators. Jacksonville has won 40 or more games the last four seasons, all of which ended in playoff appearances.
