Addison Bethea, 17, has endured five surgeries at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare since the June 30 shark attack, and doctors amputated her mangled right leg just above her knee. Now, her family is looking to her future, including weeks of rehabilitation and learning how to walk using a prosthetic leg.

As friends and families flock to the beaches to celebrate the fourth of July, one Flordia family is in the hospital with 17-year-old Addison Bethea after she was attacked by a shark Thursday off the coast of Keaton Beach, Florida.
