Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan is beginning a new round of town hall meetings aimed at addressing some of the most pressing issues facing residents, including housing affordability, access to health care and long-standing infrastructure concerns.

Northeast Florida continued to see improving housing affordability, steady pricing and a healthy inventory across the region in November, according to the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors’ report published Monday.

The former Republican congressman, now running as a Democrat, emphasized his core values and vision for the state. “The economy should work for everybody,” Jolly said. He explained that this means the economy must support the lowest wage earners, retirees, and families trying to put food on the table.
