Consumer products giant Procter & Gamble offered an annual earnings outlook that was below analysts’ projections and said it would raise prices on about a quarter of its products in the U.S. in part due to costs of President Donald Trump’s tariffs.

Procter & Gamble will cut up to 7,000 jobs, or approximately 6% of its global workforce, over the next two years as the maker of Tide detergent and Pampers diapers implements a restructuring program amid an environment dealing with trade wars and customers anxious about the economy.

Tariff worries continue hanging over companies as they report their latest financial results and try to provide guidance on their path ahead.
