Florida’s attorney general returned to St. Johns County on Monday, alongside a representative from Walmart, to announce a major expansion of the Bexley Box initiative started by Jared Bridegan’s widow through the Bridegan Foundation.

For more than a year, the daughter and widow of Jared Bridegan, the man ambushed and murdered in Jacksonville Beach in February 2022, have been turning a tragic experience into a beautiful act of kindness aimed at helping children who are in the middle of crime scenes or investigations.
