Behind Sunday’s system, another shot of cold air will into our area Monday morning. A widespread freeze will occur with temperatures dipping down into the 20s and 30s.

Freezing temperatures and a chance of snow showers

This morning is shaping up to be a cold one, and that’s not a word I use lightly. A Freeze Warning is in effect until 10 a.m. Monday across most of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

When you factor in the wind along with the temperatures Monday morning, it will feel like the teens and twenties for many locations. As a result, a Cold Weather Advisory has been posted for the areas that will have a wind chill drop into the teens and twenties.

A front will usher in frigid air Sunday night into the day on Monday. Lows Monday morning for many spots will be in the 20s and 30s with a widespread freeze likely north and west of the metro.

Wind chill values Tuesday could end up in the 10 coldest on record in the month of November, and the coldest since November 19th, 2014.
