MILAN – Twenty-seven migrants who have grown increasingly distressed aboard a Danish tanker since being rescued at sea more than a month ago have been transferred to a humanitarian rescue ship, a nongovernmental organization said Friday. Mediterranea Saving Humans immediately appealed to Malta to offer a safe port, after taking the migrants on board its ship Mare Jonio. The migrants have been caught in a standoff since being rescued by the Danish-flagged chemical tanker from a flimsy fishing boat just before it sank in the central Mediterranean on Aug. 5. “Our medical team found them in serious psycho-physical conditions that make it impossible for them to stay on the petrol tanker," Mediterranea Saving Humans tweeted. Despite Malta’s insistence, Mediterranea Saving Humans said Friday that Malta was responsible for the search and rescue area where the migrants were picked up on Aug. 5.

Egede, who was born in Norway that was part of Denmark at the time, is considered to be the person who colonized Greenland and founded the capital, Nuuk. The residents named in the lawsuit are all Danish citizens and include people of various ethnicities and races, including white. They say the measures are alienating and risk creating a lesser class of Danes based on ethnicity and skin color.

NEW YORK - Lego is looking to keep its plastic bricks out of the trash. The Danish toymaker is testing a way for customers to ship their unwanted bricks back and get them into the hands of other kids. It said Tuesday that customers in the U.S. can print out a mailing label on its site, dump their used Lego bricks in a box and ship them off for free. But some have asked for another way to donate them, said Tim Brooks, Lego's vice president of environmental responsibility. It too has said that finding a material to replace the plastic in its toys has been tricky.

A private jet carrying members of Pink's team crash-landed and burst into flames upon landing at Aurhaus Airport in Denmark on Monday night, Danish media is reporting. According to multiple reports, Pink wasn't on the plane, and thankfully, there were also no casualties or serious injuries from the accident. ET has reached out to the singer's rep, and she has yet to comment on the incident on social media. RABAT, Morocco (CNN) - Three men have been sentenced to death over the murder of two young Scandinavian women in Morocco, the lawyer for one of the victim's family confirmed Thursday. Abdelsamad al-Joud, Younes Ouziad and Rashid Afati were convicted of murdering Norweigan national Maren Ueland, 28, and Danish national Louisa Jespersen, 24. A fourth man, Abderrahmane Khayali, was sentenced to life in prison at the anti-terrorist court in Sal, near Morocco's capital Rabat. Both women had been spotted with three men in their hotel in Marrakesh before heading to the mountains to hike. Both Moroccan and Danish authorities characterized the killings as a terrorist act, saying the men had claimed allegiance to Islamic State.
