The Florida Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public meeting for St. Johns County residents concerned about the persistent foul odor caused by the Indianhead Biomass.

Indianhead Biomass hosted a community education event Thursday night to answer questions about its operations. The facility has faced complaints from residents who say a sewage-like smell in the area comes from the company. Six residents have now filed a lawsuit against Indianhead Biomass over the odor.
