Visitors who want an up-close look at the manatees being cared for at the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens won’t have to travel far from the zoo’s new entrance to see them.

The Jacksonville Zoo & Botanical Gardens debuted its new $72 million VyStar SkyScape entrance on Friday with a ribbon-cutting event featuring top civic leaders, philanthropic partners, and executives from VyStar and the zoo.
