A familiar face to “Doctor Who” fans is rejoining the long-running British sci-fi series as Ncuti Gatwa exits the lead role after two seasons.

The British Broadcasting Corp. has marked 100 years of broadcasting, a century after a group of wireless manufacturers founded the company and began filling the airwaves with its first daily radio service.

The BBC has ended speculation over the iconic Time Lord's regeneration, announcing that Ncuti Gatwa will take the mantle from Jodie Whittaker on “Doctor Who.”.
