Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is living his "blessed life" nearly two months after he was released from prison. The Jersey Shore star took to Instagram on Friday to mark his first wedding anniversary with his wife, Lauren. Mike was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, on Sept. 12. "Living My Blessed Life @lauren_sorrentino #anniversary," he captioned his anniversary photo with Lauren, taken at Anjelica's Restaurant in Sea Bright, New Jersey. Their meal at The Butcher's Block in New Jersey marked their first date night since Mike was released from prison on Sept. 12. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is a completely changed man after prison, mentally and physically. As seen on Jersey Shore, Sorrentino was binge-eating everything from fast food to soda and unhealthy snacks. "The last meal, I was probably ordering some sort of fast food delivery, 'cause I was ordering everything," he recalls. "When he went in he was already so positive, uplifting, looking at the bright side of every situation in life. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino credits his wife, Lauren, and his Jersey Shore Family Vacation castmates for helping him get through eight months in prison. "I felt very accomplished staying busy in prison," Mike says. Mike kept in touch with Lauren every day over the phone, but sent back-and-froth e-mails with his co-stars. "I believe my recovery over the past couple of years has prepared me for this journey to go through prison," Mike explains. "We run our businesses together with our online store that we work with, and then Jersey Shore and then working on some new projects too and just growing our family," Mike says.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is a free man, and taking full advantage of it! Like his first meal out of prison, Sorrentino reveals he had a full-on feast for his last meal before turning himself into the correctional institution back in January. Sorrentino came out of prison a completely changed man, as he focused on his diet and exercise while behind bars.
