Yemen's ruling leadership council has named a new cabinet following deadly clashes in the south and the dissolution of a separatist group.

The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen has warned it will respond immediately to any military movements of separatists backed by the United Arab Emirates that undermine de-escalation efforts in the south.

An official says the airspace over Yemen was briefly closed as tensions rose in the south of the country.
