ST. MARYS, Ga. – The St. Marys Police Department is trying to find 36-year-old Lamont Ryan Taylor in connection with a family violence incident involving his 44-year-old live-in girlfriend at their home in the Pelican Point Apartments. During the incident, police say Taylor threatened his girlfriend with knives and physically assaulted her with his hands. According to police Taylor held his girlfriend in the apartment and wouldn't let her to leave. The victim got away from and was taken by a friend to Camden Campus for medical treatment. Criminal arrest warrants have been issued for Taylor for the offenses of false imprisonment, aggravated assault, criminal attempt of rape and aggravated sexual battery against his live-in girlfriend.
