JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – They say necessity is the mother of invention, and runner John Fournier needed to get the sweat out of his eyes. As a runner myself, I had heard of the small bands, which wrap around the hand or wrist, have a pocket for a key, and have a terry sweat band material on one side. The band is designed to work with the contours of the face, to easily absorb sweat during a workout. The band absorbed sweat that would otherwise have stung my eyes. And, yes, just like John told me on RCL, when wrung out, the band makes a sound, kind of like…sqoosh!
