With summer around the corner, many families are hitting the water on their boats, and a new Florida law aims to prevent tragedies caused by driving or boating under the influence.

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill on Thursday that will increase penalties for repeat offenders convicted of DUI & BUI manslaughter, and vehicular and vessel homicide.
