Just three games into their regular season, the rest of their schedule has been wiped clean -- a total of 29 games have been canceled. Lackawanna football players will miss gathering in the gym to watch hoops this year. Members of the basketball team allegedly attended a planned fight as supporters. "Falcon athletes often come to Lackawanna College in pursuit of an athletic scholarship at another school," said Warren.

SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania (CNN) - A groom is facing sexual assault charges after investigators say he forced himself on his wife-to-be's bridesmaid, WNEP reported. But investigators in Monroe County say it was the events leading up to their wedding that have him now charged with sexual assault for allegedly forcing himself on his wife`s bridesmaid. Police say the assault stopped when the bride came into the locker room which led to a physical fight between the bride and groom. And he admitted to leading her into the locker room.

A couple in Lycoming County is facing theft charges after their bank accidentally deposited more than $100,000 into their account. State police say Robert and Tiffany Williams of Montoursville spent most of the money on items ranging from an SUV to a race car. State police say the couple living at a home on Cypress Street in Montoursville got themselves into hot water after spending money that wasn`t theirs. Investigators say Robert and Tiffany Williams had $120,000 deposited into their account at BB&T on May 31 through a mistake by a teller. It contacted Tiffany Williams on June 20 and told her the couple had to pay back the $107,000 in overdraft fees they incurred.

CNNThe Wyoming Valley West School District in Pennsylvania sent out hundreds of letters this week telling parents who had lunch debt to pay or their children could go into foster care. CNN has reached out to Wyoming Valley West School District, but has not heard back. Joseph Muth, the director of federal programs for the school district, was identified by WNEP as the man who wrote the letter. Muth also told the affiliate the school district was considering serving students with delinquent accounts peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Joanne Van Saun, who runs the local agency, told CNN on Saturday she feels her agency was weaponized to threaten families.
