LAKANA(CNN) - At least 22 people were injured Saturday evening after a deck collapsed at a home in Wildwood, New Jersey, according to representatives for area hospitals. The deck collapse occurred in the 200 block of East Baker Avenue in Wildwood, Staeger said. All but one of the injured were initially taken to Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May, spokeswoman Susan Staeger said. Staeger said eight patients were still being evaluated at Cape Regional, but she could not yet speak to their conditions. One person was treated at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, spokeswoman Jennifer Tornetta said, adding she didn't have information on the person's condition.

(CNN) - Did Philadelphia's friendly neighborhood "Spider-Man" just escape an apartment fire? The fire department responded to the fire around 9:30 p.m. Thursday in West Philadelphia, according to CNN affiliate WPVI. When they arrived at the 19-story high-rise, they saw a truly shocking sight: a man climbing down the outside of the building to escape the fire. The fire was believed to have been started by a trash compactor, said WPVI. The building was evacuated, and while some residents were unaccounted for, no injuries have been reported, the station said.
