The YouTuber who sent social media into a frenzy after posting video of her slapping and spitting on her dog will not face animal cruelty charges, according to reports.
Brooke Houts, who has more than 330,000 subscribers, was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department's Animal Cruelty Task Force after partially edited footage went up last month showing her hitting and shoving her Doberman.
They determined it didn't rise to the level of animal cruelty," BuzzFeed News reported, citing an unidentified Los Angeles Police Department officer.
The LAPD, in a statement to InsideEdition.com, said the department is aware of the report and is "in communication with our partners" at the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
