The 39-year-old actress and the 47-year-old film producer announced they're separating after four years of marriage in a joint statement to ET on Friday. "After much discussion and a long period of contemplation we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners," the statement reads. HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt look like they haven't aged a day, but it's been a decade since the two starred in "(500) Days of Summer." On Thursday, Deschanel, 39, took to Twitter to remind fans of the movie. "It's been 3652 days since #500DaysofSummer," she wrote alongside a shot of her and Gordon-Levitt, whose Tom was so lovesick over Deschanel's character, Summer. Gordon-Levitt, 38, also remembered the special day, writing on Twitter, "Today's the 10 year anniversary of (500) Days of Summer. Her father, Caleb Deschanel, a six-time Academy Award nominee, was the cinematographer on the photorealistic remake of the 1994 film.
