La Amapola Cafe recently opened in St. Augustine to become the only Puerto Rican restaurant in that area. Kookaburra started as a small shop in downtown St. Augustine in 2012, founded by Spencer Hooker and Megan Vidal, and quickly became a local favorite. The company expanded over the years, adding new shops in St. Augustine, Nocatee, Alachua, and now Ponte Vedra, The Honey Badger is a signature coffee drink made with honey and cinnamon.
