JSO: Car crashes into woods in Regency area Driver taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police say No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A person was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries Monday afternoon after a crash that sent the car careening into the woods at Regency Square Boulevard and Mill Creek Road, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
The single-vehicle crash was reported about 12:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said it's not clear if the driver might have had a medical episode.
The driver was the only person in the car.
Witnesses told police that the car was headed west on Regency Square Boulevard and sped up until it drove off the road deep into the woods.
Police did not release the gender, age or name of the driver.
