1 dies in single-vehicle crash on ramp from JTB to San Pablo No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol says a 48-year-old man died Tuesday morning after his pickup truck rolled four times on the eastbound exit ramp from J. Turner Butler Boulevard to San Pablo Road.
Troopers said Michael Walker, 48, of Jacksonville Beach, was headed east on JTB at 10:12 a.m. when his Dodge Ram left the road and flipped over several times. Walker was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
According to the FHP website, the eastbound exit from JTB was blocked until about 1 p.m. while the accident is investigated and cleared.
