Jacksonville officer suffers minor injuries in cruiser crash on Blanding Boulevard

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville police officer was injured Saturday in a crash on Blanding Boulevard at 105th Street on the city’s Westside, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The cruiser sustained front-end damage in the crash. The officer’s injuries were considered minor, but the officer was taken to the hospital to be treated.

Police did not release details about the circumstances of the crash or if any other vehicles were involved.
