Man falls out of pick-up truck, which then hits concrete barrier on Hart Expressway: FHP

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol reported a bizarre crash on the Hart Bridge Expressway that left a man critically injured Wednesday night.
According to troopers, the 40-year-old man from Tallahassee was in a pick-up truck headed west on the Hart Expressway, west of Atlantic Boulevard, when “for unknown reasons, the person with the vehicle had fallen” from the truck onto the road.
The crash report said the truck kept going and, about a half mile northwest, hit a concrete barrier wall at Commodore Point Expressway.
Troopers said it’s not clear if anyone else was in the truck or “how the alleged driver was removed” from the truck.
The man was last listed in critical condition, according to the report.
