ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A 21-year-old motorcyclist from Milwaukee died Thursday night when an SUV crossed into his path on State Road A1A in St. Johns County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the motorcyclist was headed north on A1A from Sawgrass Village Drive around 10:15 p.m. Thursday. At the same time, a Subaru SUV was headed south on A1A and turned left into The Fountains of Ponte Vedra condo complex, crossing the path of the motorcycle, according to the crash report.

Troopers said the motorcyclist slammed into the middle right side of the SUV.
The rider, who was wearing a helmet, died at the hospital, FHP said.
The 64-year-old woman driving the SUV and her 70-year-old male passenger were not injured. Both were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
