School Board to decide whether to merge 2 elementary schools

The Duval County School Board will vote at its meeting Tuesday night on a plan to merge two elementary schools: R.L. Brown Elementary School and R.V. Daniels Elementary School. The schools are 4 miles from each other, have similar resources and each has a population below 200 students, according to Duval County Public Schools.
