Fire causes 75 residents to evacuate Northside senior apartment complex

Multiple Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department crews are responding to a fire Sunday afternoon at a senior apartment complex in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood. News4JAX crews saw smoke coming from the second floor of a building at the Morris Manor Apartments near Soutel Drive and Norfolk Boulevard. Over 70 Residents were evacuated from the second and third floors with four people transported to the hospital. JFRD said none of the transports have life-threatening conditions.
