Season’s first tropical storm forms in the Atlantic

The National Hurricane Center has begun issuing advisories on the first tropical storm of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Tropical Storm Andrea has finally managed to sustain thunderstorms long enough to earn its name but it will be a very short lived storm.
