Magic Beach Motel closing in Vilano Beach, redevelopment to include condos, retail

The Magic Beach Motel has been a staple in Vilano Beach for over 70 years. It's set to close at the end of September following the approval of a demolition permit from St. Johns County in August. A developer plans to demolish the property before the end of the year in order to make way for condos and retail.
