JSO searching for man who ran away from fatal crash at Gold Star Family Parkway and Pecan Park Road

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who fled on foot in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Tuesday at the intersection of Gold Star Family Parkway on Pecan Park Road. JSO said 5:54 a.m., a Chevrolet S-10 was headed east on Gold Star Family Parkway, and at the same time, a Chevrolet Silverado was headed west on the same road. JSO said the Silverado made a left turn on southbound Pecan Park Road in front of the S-10, causing a collision.
