Protesters gather outside Clay County School Board meeting to call for Robert Alvero's resignation

The Clay County School Board is expected to address on Thursday a controversial social media post made by a board member in December. During their meeting on Thursday evening, board members are expected to discuss Robert Alvero’s social media comments about the “African American community.” The video, which has since been removed, has drawn widespread criticism. Before the meeting, members of the community gathered outside the Clay County School Board to call for Alvero's resignation.
