Fire rescue calls surge by 3,000 in St. Johns County | News4JAX examines what caused the spike
St. Johns County Fire Rescue (SCFR) handled nearly 68,000 calls for service in 2025, marking an increase from about 65,000 calls in 2024. That’s roughly 3,000 more calls in just one year. A review of the data shows St. Johns County had 67,997 calls last year, up from 64,932 in 2024.
