Off-duty JSO officer faces backlash over video showing him slamming kid on the ground at skate park

Surveillance video that is believed to show an off-duty Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office officer slamming a kid at South Beach Skate Park has sparked outrage among adult skateboarders and parents who frequent the park. JSO officer Stephen Hicks had already turned himself in on a misdemeanor battery charge when park surveillance video came out. Reporter Erik Avanier has the latest on the situation.
