Weather Alert Day: Strong winds, extreme low temperatures make for dangerously cold weather

A WEATHER AUTHORITY ALERT DAY is in effect through 1 p.m. Sunday for bitterly cold temperatures across our area. As we head into Sunday morning, an arctic air mass is fully in control across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, and it’s not just cold, it’s dangerously cold.
