February is Heart Month, and health leaders are raising awareness not only about heart disease, but also about who receives help during a cardiac emergency. Research shows Black Americans are statistically less likely to receive bystander CPR — a gap that can have life-or-death consequences. Today we're joined by Dr. Kelly Tice with Florida Blue and Dante Buckson the community impact director for the First Coast American Heart Association to talk about why that disparity exists, what prevents people from stepping in, and how Hands-Only CPR makes it easier than many realize.
