Police now say 5 teens hit by gunfire during ‘takeover’ event in Jacksonville Beach

In new information released Monday, Jacksonville Beach police now say five teens were injured by gunfire during a “takeover” event Saturday evening at the beaches. All five were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. One has since turned 18.
