Episcopal School of Ponte Vedra approved, plans 850-student K-8 campus set to open in 2027

The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners gave unanimous approval to a special use permit for the Episcopal School of Ponte Vedra, following an earlier unanimous approval by the county’s Planning and Zoning Agency. The school, located at 895 Palm Valley Road, will serve about 850 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. It will be housed in a 78,000-square-foot building on a 45.88-acre site currently occupied by the St. Francis in the Field Episcopal Church. Reporter John Asebes has the latest.
