Younger people are developing colorectal cancer at an alarming rate. So much so, that the rate had doubled since the 1990s in people under the age of 50. Colorectal cancer has become the leading cause of death in men under the age of 50 and is the second leading cause for women under 50. Two local doctors joined Jennifer Waugh on News4JAX+ at 10 a.m. to discuss why younger people are developing the disease, the warning signs, and whether in-home tests are effective options at determining your risks.
