UNCUT: Sheriff announces arrest of JSO officer accused of claiming $14K in false overtime

An officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has been arrested after he claimed about 200 hours of overtime for traffic enforcement shifts that he never worked, Sheriff T.K. Waters announced Thursday. Waters acknowledged that during at least some of those false overtime claims, which totaled about $14,000, Officer Christian Madsen was actually at the home of his supervisor, and the two had a romantic relationship.
