JSO provides details on Atlantic Blvd crash that killed 3, sent 4 more to hospital

Three people were killed and another four were injured Sunday afternoon in a head-on, chain reaction crash on Atlantic Boulevard near Empire Point, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said. The multi-car crash, which was reported around 12:30 p.m., shut down all lanes of Atlantic Boulevard from Empire Point to University Boulevard for hours.
