Founded by Joe Kenney after losing his son Gary in 2019, the nonprofit was built so families never have to face crisis alone. What makes them different? • You’re called a “friend,” not a patient • State-certified specialists with lived experience • In-person, phone or video support — for up to a year • Teen-specific groups Since opening, they’ve supported nearly 4,000 individuals, including about 1,000 through 988 transfers.
