There is a new concern in the battle against drug overdose. Health care workers are seeing the start of a new wave of substance abuse. There are drugs now that are tens and hundreds of times more potent than fentanyl, and they're added into pills your teen or college students doesn't even realize. Mike McCormick with Florida Poison control and Susan Pittman founder of Drug Free Duval joined News4Jax anchor Jennifer Waugh to explain the new danger. Kim Kelly, who lost her son Palmer to an overdose, also joined them with details of an upcoming event in her son's honor to raise awareness.
