Microwaves, tablecloths and placemats are responsible for causing the most common burns among children in our area. According to doctors are Wolfson Children's Hospital, soups and noodles heated in a microwave cause far more burns in young kids removing them from the microwave than parents may even realize. Dr. Sarah Fernandez, a physician at Wolfson Children's hospital, explains other common reasons children suffer burns at home, and the mistakes parents make when trying to relieve the pain.
