One person dead, 2 more sent to hospital after argument turns into fight in St. Johns County

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said one person died and two more were sent to the hospital after an argument turned into a fight and then escalated into gunfire near the Courtney Groves subdivision of SilverLeaf, around Crimson Leaf Drive and Johns Island Parkway. Deputies said the incident began around 4:26 p.m. when the sheriff’s office received calls of shots being fired in the previously mentioned area. Reporter Chris Will has the latest.
