Westside residents distraught after 25-year-old woman killed in hit-and-run

Questions about pedestrian safety came to the forefront after a 25-year-old woman was killed Monday night while trying to cross 103rd Street near Kincaid Road.  Residents who walk in the neighborhood said the roadway already feels dangerous and they want changes. “My first instinct was to pray for the family and the friends,” Sydnee Wright, who lives near the site of the crash, said.
