New details about deadly shooting in Ponte Vedra & what we've learned about the woman who was killed

A GoFundMe created by her brother identified the woman killed Friday night in a double shooting at a Ponte Vedra Walgreens as Melissa Wood, a mother of two who recently became a grandmother “barely a year ago.” Wood's daughter spoke to News4JAX yesterday, describing her mother as loving and supportive, and sharing her thoughts about 32-year-old Christian Barrios, the man accused of taking her mother's life. News4JAX also obtained an unredacted arrest warrant for Barrios, which revealed more details about what happened the night police say Barrios killed Wood and a man named Jason Chatham in St. Johns County.
