Jacksonville woman faces sentencing in hammer killing of man she says groomed her starting at 8
A Jacksonville woman who pleaded guilty in the gruesome murder of a 41-year-old man she claimed groomed her from childhood is scheduled to be sentenced Friday. Waduta Woodley's body was discovered by police in the breezeway of an apartment complex on Jacksonville’s Westside in July 2025 with a white piece of paper on his chest that read, “PEDO Touches Children.”
