This Saturday, the @jaxshrimp will take the field as the Jax Red Caps, honoring the Negro American League team that played in Durkeeville from 1938–1942 at what is now Henry Aaron Field at JP Small Park. Get there early! The first 2,000 fans through the Main Gate will receive a FREE Retro Red Caps basketball jersey, presented by Florida Blue. 🎆 Plus, stick around after the game for Saturday Night Fireworks! The celebration continues Sunday with another chance to cheer on the Red Caps, along with Sunday Family FUNday, pregame catch on the field, face painting, balloon animals and Kids Run the Bases.
