JTA board approves $30 million gas-tax agreement amid $39 million budget shortfall

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority’s Board of Directors voted Wednesday to accept millions of dollars in local taxpayer funding as the agency works to stabilize its finances and address a $39 million budget shortfall.
