Main Street Bridge to close Monday for weeklong inspection as Duval County students return to school

If you’re heading through Downtown Jacksonville this week, plan for delays. The Main Street Bridge (State Road 5) will be closed to all vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians Monday, Aug. 11, through Friday, Aug. 16, for an important bridge inspection and maintenance project.
